Breaking news
It goes without saying that most of the breaking news we CONSTANTLY get today is beyond logic, but to a woman it’s so much worse. With the constant attacks to women’s rights and reproductive rights it’s hard to believe how we can stay sane in a world sliding into a giant mess. Thanks to Kristi Oster for starring in this short video and for taking direction well on a lot of stop and go moments.
Behind the scenes
When I thought of this idea, the first thing on my mind was how in the hell would I make a fist break through an iPhone. Thinking of a visual for journalism first, I bought some “fashionable” newspaper gloves and work from there. Everything was timed out to beats on the song by Donna Fargo making the editing process later a little bit smoother. Thankfully the rotoscope tool saved me so much time and the chroma key backdrop made it easier to find an edge.
